Victims of Service NSW Grant dodgy ‘audit’ scam – Statement of Outcomes

Statement of Outcomes sought by Approved Grant Applicants (victims) of Service NSW ‘audit’ (scam)

Dated : 21st July 2024

*

1. NSW Premier Chris Minns MP to immediately order the permanent cancellation of his government’s department, Service NSW’s current audit (scam) applying to outstanding ‘Approved Grant Applicants’ of the 2021 COVID-19 Micro Business Grant offered and paid by Service NSW as pandemic grant compensation under the previous NSW Government . This is to include immediately cancelling all debt collection invoices issued in relation to this audit process and to cancel any further debt collection invoices to fully resolve this matter;

2. NSW Premier Chris Minns to publicly acknowledge that since the 23 March 2023 election of his NSW government, that Service NSW’s Grant Audit programme (scam) was wrong, was an error of judgment by internal management, that its contractors behaved unconscionably in a threatening and intimidating behaviour (including upfront baseless accusations of being somehow “fraudsters”) toward many hundreds of law-abiding small business owners as Approved Grant Applicants;

3. NSW Premier Chris Minns to immediately order Service NSW to refund all receipts of payment from the Approved Grant Applicants who have reimbursed any monies to Service NSW in relation to its Grant Audit programme (scam);

4. NSW Premier Chris Minns to order Service NSW current Chief Executive Officer Greg Wells to personally apologise in writing to each Approved Grant Applicant who has been contacted by Service NSW in relation to its Grant Audit programme (scam);

5. NSW Premier Chris Minns to order the prompt employment termination of those ultimately responsible for Service NSW Grant Audit programme (scam), notably Cassandra Gibbens (Executive Director, Service NSW Business Bureau), Service NSW current Chief Executive Officer Greg Wells, and The Hon. Jihad DIB, MP Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government (Service NSW), as well as the prompt winding up of Service NSW’s Business Bureau;

6. NSW Premier Chris Minns to immediately order appropriate independent professional mental health counselling of affected Approved Grant Applicants who have been personally adversely emotionally impacted by Service NSW Grant Audit programme (scam);

7. NSW Premier Chris Minns to introduce into NSW state legislation a Bill so drafted to ensure that future grants approved and paid out fully by any NSW government, cannot be subsequently subject to any audit process nor debt collection process.
