Medlow Bath stone cottage heritage stay

The two of us have just returned home from checking out of our stay before 10am.
Our latest private getaway has been much needed. It was away geographically, yet not long, nor complicated, nor sophisticated. It was a wonderful break just being away.
Being based at our home in Katoomba, we’ve just spent two nights and days away in time and space, though our chosen stay destination was 8km away in Medlow Bath yet back to the 19th Century. Here’s our indicative transport route map using our tour vehicle.
I guess it’s just where we live. So why travel well away, when everything you seek is just up the road?
