Tour Stays?

We suggest to potential tour guests that they may well consider for our selected Day Hike and/or Road Tour options of considering travel accommodation (‘stays’) that are convenient (close by) to a given particular trip.

Nature Trail has been a local of the Blue Mountains for twenty years. We have travelled extensively and have a detailed knowledge of many accommodation options throughout the following regions of the state of New South Wales (NSW) in Australia:

(A) Upper Blue Mountains

(B) NSW Central Tablelands

(C) NSW Southern Highlands

For any tour guest/guest group requesting booking of one of our 2-Day Tours or Multi-Day Tours, we are happy to suggest a range of accommodation options (‘stays’) located geographically convenient to that given tour.

Each guest requiring an accommodated stay, needs to themselves directly arrange the stay at the time of booking a specific tour with Nature Trail. If accommodated stay is required by a tour guest then that is completely the responsibility of the tour guest. However, Nature Trail , if notified well in advance is happy to discuss us providing/facilitating transport transfers to/from the tour start so long as the stay location is reasonably close by.

IMPORTANTLY: However, please note that Nature Trail does not book accommodation for anyone. Booking a stay is the responsiblity of each tour guest, since Nature Trail is a specialist Tour Operator, but NOT a Travel Agent nor an Accommodation Provider of stays.

Accommodation options can range from budget to luxury in both price and quality. The options can also range from 5-star resorts and indulgent retreats, to pubs, motels, self-contained, short-term holiday let, farm stays, glamping, and caravan parks to backpacker accommodation. However, we don’t include camp sites.

Whilst we point out that Nature Trail does not own travel accommodation property and is not a travel agent, we are able to assist our tour guests with informed local knowledge about quality accommodation options to best supplement our 2-Day Tours and our Multi-Day Tours.

It is in our mutual interests that our tour guests don’t just have a fantastic tour with us by day, but that the entire holiday experience including accommodation meets and hopefully exceeds our tour guests expectations. So just ask us at the time of your tour enquiry. Tel: +61-2-4782 1300

The stays we describe on this website are simply those that personally appeal to Nature Trail’s Tour Leader. Each is listed under a location (village or area). None is a recommendation by Nature Trail, rather each is just one option to consider. It saves finsing on Google or third party agency websites. Each traveller has his/her own preferences, and what we like may of course not suit others.

Some of the stays we list and describe we have actually stayed in, otherwise if not, well we just recking it looks nice from the outside and is in a great location and suits our own personal style depending what trip we are doing.

For each listing, we include just the website of each, since details tend to change over time.

We do recommend where possible to always try to enquire and book accommodation directly with the owner of the accommodation service. We do NOT recommend travellers to third party intermediaries like Stayz | Bookings.com | AirBnb – such are all foreign to Australia and we consider exploitative.

So instead, we recommend to book local and direct with the boss!
