Service NSW token apology for extortion (aka Minns Robodebt 2.0)… only 712 days late!

So, in Nature Trail’s email inbox on Friday 28th March 2025, one receives an out-of-the-blue apology note from Service NSW.

Here’s that email, showing a PDF attachment:

Anonymous communication tactics by Service NSW as per usual.  Emailer “Scott” (no surname) – yeah right, it’s just more ‘AI’ (that artificial intelligence fad) and likely one of many such emails roneoed out by some internal IT geek long timed just before Public Service home time (i.e. 3pm Friday).  The geek was likely recruited by incompetent CEO Greg Wells, who has a notorious record online of his IT systems failures across NSW Government.

For instance, Greg Wells’ dodgy AI system can’t even spell my name correctly, using its ‘client’ database reference fields.

And I certainly won’t be “reaching out” to Service anonymous first-namer team in so-called “Customer Resolutions“.

Far from any resolution, Service NSW has immorally embarked on as if a ‘final solution’ for the 63,009 ‘2021 COVID-19 Micro Business Grant’ legitimate recipients.  It has been nothing short of a bureaucratically contrived extortion racket to retrospectively contrive the paid out grants into fabricated debts, then to handball the debt collection to Service NSW cohorts-in-crime, sister agency Revenue NSW.

This has been ongoing since NSW Police’s ‘Strikeforce Sainsbery‘ fraud investigation and financial cover-up from November 2021. [^Read More]

It’s an interlocking political scandal and akin to disgraced US President Nixon’s Watergate scandal (1972-1974).  In the Minns NSW Government case this is akin to a ‘Grantgate‘, if you like.  It’s a rather apt new term that I’ll be recommending to Australia’s Macquarie Dictionary to adopt for 2025.

So then, this is Service NSW attached letter of apology letter to Nature Trail – see below.

One notes no date on the letter, but it does have a new ring-in Elizabeth Stockell, who signs off as ‘Director of Training and Customer Resolution’.

“Service NSW takes all complaints seriously”

Is this more AI or just more disingenuous bureaucracy, or both?

“I understand that the initiation of a subsequent audit may have been distressing, and I am sorry for any unintended challenges that you have faced as a result…I understand you have found the 2021 COVID-19 Micro Business Grant application and the subsequent audit process frustrating.”

Mmmm…She’s definitely a blow-in – apologising for others before her time.

Stockell’s probably got one of those popular Communications (bullshitting) degrees, and would suit a contemporary apologist for the colonial slave trade of indigenous populations.

Service NSW apologises for any distress caused by the communications sent to you by Service NSW.

“Service NSW committed to learning from your experience”

Now that is pure lie.

What this undated letter to me constitutes is a written apology from the NSW Government admitting to its wrong treatment of me as Tour Director of Nature Trail’s tour business in the Blue Mountains.

By extension legally to is all and to the total 63,009 grant recipients that Service NSW has unconscionably targeted by unfounded extortion tactics.

The cynic in me suspects this undated letter is just another misuse of ‘AI’ (government’s latest addiction to Artificial Intelligence – recall Centrelink’s Robodebt 1.0).

So look out in the mail for a roneoed copy of such incoming letters from Service NSW to each of you, and let me know.  Indeed perhaps a written apology by Service NSW to all 63009 approved recipients of the Micro Business Grant?  That’d be 126 reams of stacked A4 – see photo attached.   Your taxes at work?

I interpret this as guilt-driven but yet belated closure to this grant clawback extortion racket by government.  I had initiated my complaint the Service NSW CEO twice about this threatening nonsense 16th April 2023 and again 7th February 2024.   So this undated acknowledgement letter by Service NSW’s so-called ‘Director of Training and Customer Resolution that I received by email 28th March 2025 comes 712 days later.

So, frankly I now have legal basis to file a lawsuit against the bastards for criminal extortion and each grant recipient could as a joint class action.
